Web Check In - Troubleshooting

If Passengers meet problems when use web check-in, please check below possible reasons:

Please enter CORRECT information as below:

1. Incorrect information ( required/optional information) for web check-in
   • Required information: Last name, Departure airport; 
   • Optional information (one of three following information): Reservation code/ e-ticket number/ FFP card number.
   • If Passengers still meet problems after entering correct optional information, please enter other information. For example, if Passengers already filled in “Reservation code” but cannot go through next step, please choose others to continue. After all, if Passengers still cannot complete web check-in process, please see below troubleshooting for more information.
2. Using Vietnam Airlines’ FFP card number on web check-in but they do not show them when making purchase at ticket’s office; or using other airlines’ FFP card number.
3. Passenger enter required information: Last name, Departure Airport; and one of two following optional information: Reservation Code and e-ticket number

5. If Passengers process web check-in sooner than 24 hours before scheduled departure time, please come back to process web check-in during 24 hours – 2 hours before scheduled departure time.
6. If Passengers process web check-in from 2 hours before scheduled departure time, please visit and check At the Airport
7. Passengers please contact to Vietnam Airlines’ booking offices or agents to check information.
8. Passengers please come to departure airport to complete check-in

13. Passengers please contact to operated airlines to process check-in or come to departure airport to complete check-in
14. Using FFP card number on web check-in for more than 1 reservation codes which are operated by Vietnam Airlines, departured from same airports and in same time frame that allowing to use web check-in. ( 24 hours to 2 hour before scheduled departure time)
15. DO NOT PROCESS web check-in from 24 hours to 2 hours before scheduled departure time.
16. E-ticket is no longer valid
17. More than one e-ticket in same segment and same reservation code
18. Bookings are not confirmed
19. Request special needs ( except special meal)
20. Travel with infants under 02 years.
21. Travel with FOC, ID, AD tickets.
22. Travel on flights operated by OTHER AIRLINES; or on code-share flights between Vietnam Airlines and other airlines and these flights are operated by other airlines
